Creative Cooking Challenge
Having more diversity in your diet benefits your gut by feeding and diversifying the good bacteria you have in your gut. This is key to balancing your hormones. Your gut produces every hormone and having a diverse microbiome is a huge part to healing from any symptoms or conditions you may have been diagnosed with.
This month I challenge you to get out of your comfort cooking routine and start cooking with ingredients you rarely use or have never used at all.
Take 2 days a week to cook a meal from the periodFix Cookbook or create your own using at least ONE INGREDIENT you haven’t tried yet or rarely use/eat.
You can start by going to a different market where you can find vegetables, fruits, spices from different parts of the world.
For example, you may want to pick up okra and use it to make a meal. If you rarely eat cauliflower, on the other hand, pick a recipe from the PF cookbook that contains it as one of the ingredients!
